THE STORY
.jpg)
This project aims to allow refugees and volunteer students to practice the art and discover alternatives ways of expressing. It is a way to spend time together outside traditional classes, get to know each other and exchange our cultural differences. It is also the opportunity for everybody to participate in the creation, the management of a collective project and to set up an exhibition.
THE AIM
We have decided to create a social, artistic and collective project:
SOCIAL in the sense that the students, whether refugees or volunteers in the program, meet to create and spend time together to share, get to know each other, understand their differences and similarities.
ARTISTIC in the way that our goal is to give access to art practices and expression. The idea is not to focus on the fact that the participants are refugees but rather to encourage everybody to express freely. This project finally aims to use art as a tool to change the social representations of the refugees by discovering aspects of their identities that we don’t often talk about.
COLLECTIVE because every participant is an actor in this project. It is not about one artist creating based on the participants’ contributions. Instead, everybody is encouraged to create himself or herself and to find its own way to express its artistic creativity within a common project.
This project is focusing mainly on the human dimension but it is also a way to spend simple good time together and have fun creating.

OUR PROJECT
WINTEGREAT - BSB 2020
BSB French students and refugee-students from five countries are practicing art together as an extension of Wintegreat’s innovative program to empower refugees. In this student-run international cultural exchange we create artworks together, exchange stories about our different cultures, forge lifelong friendships, and, ultimately, will mount a weeklong art exhibition.

We need your help to raise $450 for art supplies, frames, and prints. This is a euro-for-euro campaign and every euro counts.
Please Donate to our Cultural Exchange! Thank you.
